Welcome, we are Luvfm Amsterdam, a former radio pirate based in Amsterdam The Netherlands.
Between 1998 and the end off 2004 Luvfm was one of the last die hard pirate stations that transmitted 24/7.

In March 2013, Peter de Vries decided to set up a nice, varied station once again under the simple name Radio Gewoon Voor U.

Over the years, the station grew bigger and bigger and more and more programme makers came to RGVU from home and abroad.

Many hit lists including the Flemish Super 15, Flemish Extra 15, Flemish Top and Tip 15, Dutch Top 40 and more found their audience through us.

Also many quality programs such as TKO Experience, Irresponsible ABC, De Connectie, Forgotten Hits, Roy is Los, D’X@R Sounds, Static Mixen, Weekend Mix, Totally Anders, Welcome to my House, Guido’s Lounge Cafe, High Drone in the mix and many others could be heard weekly.

Also from abroad a considerable contribution was made by Mars Soundman and his team from United Sounds Choice with Tommy Martin, Pete Forsyth and Jason Scott, who we will definitely ask again.

From beautiful Belgium we also heard many radio makers on RGVU every week, such as Wim Mees, Rudolf Stevens, DJ Mike, Sammy Soul, Pascal Delplanque and Jan Kerremans.

A new start also means a new plan, the broadcasts started on Friday from 6:00 PM and last until Sunday 00:00, outside these hours there are no shows but day and night music in the danceable genre 70s 80s 90s.

In 2018 Radio Gewoon Voor U ceased to exist and there was radio silence for a few years, but now we are back under our one and only name Luvfm Amsterdam because that is Radio Gewoon Voor U.
